Shortly after 10 p.m. Friday, Vernon-North Okanagan RCMP arrested a man who was operating a vehicle that had been reported stolen from a local car dealership a week earlier.
Upon further investigation, police found the man in possession of items taken during a break-in to the Civic Arena early Friday morning.
These stolen items included candy and toys from gift baskets earmarked for the hockey tournament.
