B.C.'s official opposition are coming to Vernon.

NDP leader John Horgan and his caucus will host a public meet-and-greet Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Village Green Hotel.

“I am travelling across this province fighting to build a better BC. As premier, I will stand up for families and build an economy that works for everyone, not just the wealthy and Christy Clark’s donors,” said Horgan.

Horgan says there needs to be a change in government during May's election.

“I’m appalled at the poor state of seniors' care and the growing number of seniors at risk of homelessness, and Christy Clark does nothing. She has flip-flopped on funding schools, hurting children and their families who rely on quality public education to get a good start in life," he said.
