BC Wildfire Service holding blaze by Adams Lake in the Shuswap at 16.3 hectares

A wildfire by Adams Lake is being held at 16.3 hectares.

Lightning was the suspected cause behind the Spapilum Creek fire, located on the west side of the lake and north of the Brennan Creek recreation site. The fire was discovered Wednesday afternoon, July 5.

On Friday afternoon, July 7, BC Wildfire Service said the fire was being held, and that they had 25 personnel with available air support working the fire.
