A Vernon boy is missing his new set of wheels.
Tyson Post, who is eight and autistic, had his bicycle stolen from his yard July 3.
“For his birthday a couple months ago, being a single mom on disability with limited funds, I was able to afford a new bike from him,” said mom Tammy Post.
“He is very upset and devastated and just wants his bike back.”
Post is hoping the public will help locate the bike so it can be returned to her son.
“My disability prevents me from driving, so our bikes are like our vehicle, our only form of transportation,” she said.
“Mine was not taken only his. Being on disability makes it very hard to afford to just go get a new bike to replace his stolen one.”
