Brazen froyo theft

Police are investigating a break-in at a frozen yogurt shop in Kelowna.

An early morning mischief call had police scratching their heads on Friday.

Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt was broken into about 8 a.m. after front window was smashed out.

Officers arrived at the location on the 2400 block of Highway 97 but found no one inside the business.

While investigators are trying to confirm what exactly was taken from the business, reports indicate someone made two frozen yogurt cups and left.

Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey wouldn’t confirm the reports but asked anyone with information to contact the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300 or Crime Stoppers.
