Representatives from Armstrong have increased their awareness about gangs and drugs.

Vernon residents have just a few days to provide their two cents on the city budget.

The interactive budget simulator, which takes about 10 minutes to complete, closes Oct. 14.

“The Vernon citizen budget includes charts, links and background information on various services to help guide participants throughout the consultation,” said Tanya Laing Gahr, with the city.

“The process allows residents to see what council considers when deliberating on the budget and provide their own thoughts and priorities. Input from participants will be reviewed by council as part of its budget discussions and decisions.”
