A casting call is being held in Vernon Saturday for a Feature Film, Beautiful Voice.

The film will be shooting in Kamloops from Oct. 24 – Dec. 2 and extras are being sought up and down the Okanagan.

An open extras casting call will be held in in Vernon, this Saturday, Oct. 15 at the Fairfield Hotel, 5300 Anderson Way, between 5 and 9 p.m.

Casting calls also take place in Kelowna Saturday, and in Kamloops Sunday.

“We are looking for people of all ages, with a Middle Eastern or Mediterranean look as well as East Indian, Hispanic, African, Native and mixed ethnicities,” said Jon Summerland, Okanagan Film Commission.

Must be a Canadian citizen or have a valid work permit and have a flexible schedule. Opportunity to work one or several days. Travel to and from Kamloops provided. This is not an agency casting. No fees are charged for photos or commission charged for film work. Pay is $10.85 – $23.85/hr.
