City of Vernon crews dealing with water main breaks

Crews busy with two breaks, and will be repairing a third shortly

Three water main breaks are currently being attended to in Vernon.

The breaks are at:

  • 4900 block, Heritage Drive: A crew is on-site and the road is closed except for local traffic. There are approximately 60-75 homes without water, including three large multi-family properties.
  • 2800 block, Allenby Way: Crew is on-site and traffic rerouting is in place. Currently, 15-20 homes are without water.
  • 6900 block, Tronson Road: A crew is expected to be on-site following repairs on Heritage Drive and Allenby Way. There are approximately 10 homes without water.

Repairs are anticipated to take at least four hours each.

Drivers are advised to take alternate routes and to obey all signs and flaggers on site.
