International trade will be front and centre during a North Okanagan-Shuswap Conservative Association fundraiser.
Ed Fast, Abbotsford MP, will speak at the Saturday, March 12 banquet at the Atrium Hotel at 6:30 p.m.
“The experience and knowledge of Ed Fast are sure to make his keynote address one that is not to be missed,” said Linda Haes, NOSCA president.
Fast served as Canada’s minister of international trade from 2011 to 2015 and led the negotiations for the Canada-EU Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement and the Trans-Pacific Partnership.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for stakeholders in our regional exporting sectors to hear from and engage with one of Canada’s most prolific trade minsters,” said Hawes.
