Vernon's Jim Cotter has advanced to the final of the Canadian Direct Insurance B.C. men's curling championship in Nelson.
Cotter and third Ryan Kuhn, second Tyrel Griffith and lead Rick Sawatsky advanced to Sunday's 4 p.m. final with a 5-1 win over New Westminster's Sean Geall in the one versus two playoff game.
Leading 2-1, Cotter clinched the game with three in the ninth end.
Geall will play the winner of tonight's match between Dean Joanisse of New West and Glen Jackson of Victoria.
