A single-vehicle accident near the Kelowna Airport Saturday resulted in problems for an Enderby man.

Kelowna RCMP were called to the scene of a single-vehicle collision involving a green Ford Windstar and a power pole on the southbound side of Highway 97 at 6:30 p.m.

RCMP say an officer found the driver, a 48-year-old Enderby man, impaired by alcohol.

“The Enderby man failed a roadside test and was taken to the Kelowna detachment for breath samples, which were both just over the legal limit,” said Const. Kris Clark.

The driver was charged for driving without due care under the Motor Vehicle Act.
