An issue that has dominated North Okanagan headlines is gaining some provincial attention.

John Cummins, B.C. Conservative leader, will be in Vernon today to discuss meat processing regulations.

“He will reveal a major policy plank that will be of special interest to ranchers in Vernon-Monashee,” said Scott Anderson, the party’s local candidate.

Cummins will be at the Conservatives’ campaign office in Vernon at 10 a.m.
