A detour is in effect on Bella Vista Road in Vernon while crews install a sanitary manhole in the area.
The City of Vernon says the detour will be in place between Orchard Hill Road and Sunnyview Road until 4 p.m. Thursday, April 14. The city notes this timeline could change if emergencies arise.
Crews began work around 7:30 a.m. today.
Local traffic can still access the construction area during the closure.
For the safety of workers and the public, drivers are asked to slow down in construction and detour zones, and obey all traffic control measures.
