Anybody who thinks they’ve lost a Sea-Doo or wakeboard dock may want to check with the Vernon RCMP.

Police responded Nov. 18 to a call of a possible overturned boat in Okanagan Lake near Paddlewheel Park shortly after noon.

“Police attended but because of where they were and where the object was in the water, they were unable to confirm it was a boat,” said Vernon RCMP spokesperson Gord Molendyk.

The Vernon Fire Department was contacted, they went out on to the water and discovered the object was not a boat, but rather it was either a Sea-Doo or wakeboard dock.

The item was towed into shore and secured by RCMP.

If you think it’s yours, you can contact the detachment at 250-545-7171 and quote file number 24247.
