Electoral reform

Resident provides their thoughts on local electoral reform discussions

The letter from L. Hawes in response to B. Cousin is full of issues.

First, she claims the town halls were Mel Arnold’s when in fact they were put on by the Liberal Party because the Conservative Party refused to comply.

Second, I don’t know what leaflet Hawes received but one that became a running joke on Facebook had no mention of a town hall and was nothing more than a effort to promote the Conservative Party agenda — which is get a referendum on electoral reform (so they can campaign hard against it, knowing with enough money and fear mongering you could frighten enough people to kill it).

Hawes continues on with the Conservative Party propaganda, so who is pushing fake news?
