Enderby merchants will be able to get more details on Highway 97A upgrades Monday.

The Ministry of Transportation will provide an update on the construction project at the Enderby Chamber of Commerce office at 3:30 p.m.

“Owners of businesses affected by the highway construction are invited to attend,” said Tate Bengston, chamber executive director.

Ken Aura, the ministry’s senior project manager, will present the construction schedule.

He will also present potential changes to the scope of work to address some of the concerns raised by residents.

“The chamber will seek feedback about the business community’s preferred option,” said Bengston.

“This feedback will be referred to Enderby city council and the ministry.”

Anyone wanting to attend the meeting must confirm their attendance by noon Monday. You can  e-mail info@enderbychamber.com or call 250-838-6727.
