Enderby firefighters were called to the 1600 block of George Street Sunday at about 8:20 p.m.

Enderby firefighters were able to save a vintage vehicle Sunday night.

Crews received a report of a blaze between a wood shed and a garage at about 8:20 p.m.

"It wasn't fully involved," said Kevin Alstad, fire chief.

The primary concern was a 1956 Chevy truck inside the garage. Firefighters were able to cool it down, but some damage was sustained.

"It's still drivable but it will need to go into a body shop," said Alstad.

The cause of the fire is still being determined, and making a final determination may be difficult because of debris.

"There's a lot of water damage and we had to knock the roof down on the shed for firefighter safety," said Alstad.
