Extreme heat warning issued for Okanagan

Daytime temperatures are expected to be around 35C throughout the weekend

As the mercury continues to rise, Environment Canada has issued a heat warning for most of the Okanagan.

Daytime highs hovering around 35C and nighttime lows around 18C are expected throughout the weekend.

More seasonal, moderate temperatures are expected next week.

A severe thunderstorm watch was issued for most of the Okanagan earlier in the afternoon.
