There is little left to a truck at a Spallumcheen business.
Armstrong-Spallumcheen firefighters received a report of a semi-truck fire at Rick Nickell Trucking on Spallumcheen Drive at 9:30 p.m. Thursday.
“It was fully involved and we were able to keep it from extending into the building,” said Ian Cummings, fire chief.
“There was a significant fuel load (with the truck) but the big issue was exposure. It was parked close to the shop and it was three feet from another (truck) unit.”
The cause has not been determined.
“Nothing jumped out as suspicious,” said Cummings.
