Planning is well underway for Canada Day fireworks in Greater Vernon.

The North Okanagan Canada Day Society has confirmed that Craftsman Collision will remain as the title sponsor for the July 1 event.

“For many families, this event has been a part of Vernon’s summer calendar for several years and we are proud to be the title sponsor again for this amazing community event,” said said Tom Watters, Craftsman Collision regional manager.

While Canada is marking its 150th birthday, Craftsman is celebrating its 40th anniversary.

“Being able to sponsor a fun, free, family event like the fireworks this Canada Day connects our shops and

brand to the community,” said Rick Hatswell, chief operating officer.

This year, the fireworks will be held at a new secret location which will be announced in early June.

Drop by Craftsman Collision at 2727 35th Ave. to complete a ballot or check out the North Okanagan Canada Day Society Facebook page to guess the new location for a chance to win four VIP tickets to the fireworks.
