Vernon residents living near creek are being urged to take action as water levels rise.
Stockpiles of sandbags are available at the following locations:
- City yards – outside main gate on Pleasant Valley Road
- Corner of Okanagan Avenue. and Okanagan Landing Road
- Fire hall, 3401 30th St.
Blocked culverts and water debris that causes an emergent threat of flooding should be reported to public works department.
