The City of Armstrong was battered by a severe flash storm Friday.
The storm brought wind, rain and hail, starting shortly after 7 p.m. and lasting anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour.
Power was out in the Highland Park subdivision for more than six hours, and even longer for some residents of Spallumcheen.
The storm caused flood and other damage to a number of homes throughout the city.
