Fulton grads make an entrance

It is all about the entrance.

At least that was the case with some of the Clarence Fulton Secondary School graduates as they arrived for photos in their formal wear in everything from a golf cart to a dune buggy Friday afternoon at Polson Park.

“Kacey (Smart) really wanted to do something original, so at first we were going to do a bike, but then we thought, nope that’s too much muscle power, so then we decided to go for the amazing golf cart,” said Tianna Harrington about her arrival with Smart in a balloon-laden golf cart.

As well as the interesting modes of transportation, the park buzzed with excited chatter between friends and best wishes and compliments from family members.

“I’m going to miss seeing my friends every day and knowing they will be there and I’ll miss my sports teams,” said Danielle Olson when asked about what she is sad to leave behind.

“I won’t miss school work and getting up early,” said Olson’s friend Stella Croll.

Even though their high school careers are over, most grads have a plan for their future in place, ranging from post secondary education, hitting the work force or traveling.

“I’m going to go to college and work part time for a couple of years,” said Jared Smith.

“I will work to save up enough money to go travelling and then go from there,” said Croll.
