Grow-op busted

258 marijuana plants seized from barn on Glenmary Road in Enderby

One more marijuana grow operation has been dismantled in the North Okanagan.

Officers from the Vernon-North Okanagan rural detachment, following up on a file, executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Jan. 18 at a home on Glenmary Road in Enderby.

“Our officers entered a barn on the property and seized 258 marijuana plants,” said RCMP spokesperson Gord Molendyk. “Officers then dismantled the grow-op.”

A 39-year-old man at the residence was arrested, then released on a promise to appear in provincial court at a later date.
