The NDP’s federal health critic is coming to Vernon.

Victoria MP Murray Rankin will meet with local candidate Jacqui Gingras and take part in a meet and greet session Tuesday at 4 p.m. at the NDP office on 30th Avenue, across from Nolan’s Pharmasave.

Rankin is also chairperson of the NDP’s B.C.caucus and has also been critic for national revenue and pensions.

Joining Rankin will be Carol Baird Ellan, a retired provincial court judge who is running for the NDP in Burnaby North-Seymour.
