A section of Highway 1, east of Revelstoke will be closed for avalanche control work on Saturday afternoon.
According to DriveBC, the work is planned between Woolsey Creek Bridge and Glacier National Park West Boundary for nearly 18 km.
The work will begin at 3 p.m. on Mar. 16 and end at 5 p.m. During this time the road will be closed, without a detour available.
The next update will be at 4:45 p.m.
