A single-vehicle rollover caused some delays between Cherryville and Lumby on Highway 6 Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to the accident, which occurred around 3 p.m. approximately 15 kilometres east of Lumby.
"One female was taken to hospital by BC Ambulance," said Lumby Fire Chief Tony Clayton, noting that she was conscious but he was unsure of the seriousness of her injuries.
RCMP are investigating the accident, which took place in an area which includes some winding curves.
"She was heading toward Cherryville," said Clayton.
Drive BC is also reporting a closure on Highway 1 due to a vehicle incident. The highway is closed in both directions 25 km west of Salmon Arm. No detour is available.
