House construction remains slow in Vernon.
The Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation reports there were 11 starts last month, compared to 19 in March 2015.
Of the 11 starts, there were nine single-detached units and two multiple units.
Year-to-date, there have been 33 housing starts in Vernon compared to 74 during the first three months of 2015.
