More information on a suspected clandestine drug lab in the BX won’t be released until a full analysis of evidence found at the scene is fully completed.

RCMP officers, assisted by their Clandestine Laboratory Enforcement and Response Team (CLEAR) and Health Canada, continue to investigate a rural home in the 8200 block of Silver Star Road.

The suspected lab was first discovered last Friday.

“We anticipate that RCMP and Health Canada investigators will have completed the dismantling and examination of the scene by Thursday,” said RCMP Cpl. Dan Moskaluk.

One male occupant was detained during initial attendance by police, and was subsequently released pending further investigation.

A determination as to the purpose of the clan lab will take several weeks, during which time an analysis of the materials found will be conducted.
