Kalavista Boat Launch in Coldstream re-opens

Construction completed; water in Kal Lake quite shallow; use at own risk says district

The District of Coldstream says construction on the Kalavista Boat Launch is complete.

As of Monday, May 9, the launch is open for public use.

“Launch users are advised to use caution, as the water (in Kalamalka Lake) is very shallow,” said the district in a release. “Use at your own risk.”

Kal Lake can also be accessed from launches at Kinloch and Kekuli Bay.
