Landing water advisory lifted

Routine water use has returned for Okanagan Landing residents.

On Friday, the North Okanagan Regional District rescinded a water quality advisory for 1,100 addresses from the 4700 block of Okanagan Landing Road to Peters Road.

The advisory was initiated March 7 after a water main break. There was concerns that turbidity may lead to some water-borne illnesses.

As part of the advisory, children, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems were asked to be careful when ingesting water.
