Light A Bulb campaign gaining support

The Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation has raised $29,318 since Nov. 12.

A holiday fundraiser is shining bright.

With the 28th annual Light a Bulb underway, the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation has raised $29,318 since Nov. 12.

“Service clubs, community groups, businesses and individuals have all stepped up early to help raise $200,000 for orthopaedic equipment to increase hip and knee surgeries at VJH,” said Marg Bailey, campaign chairperson.

Light a Bulb brochures are being delivered to homes in Vernon, Coldstream, Armstrong, Enderby, Lumby and surrounding areas.
