The investigation into an industrial accident in Lumby Friday morning continues.
An adult male worker at the business was killed while working. Police and ambulance personnel were called to the site just after 10:30 a.m.
“I can tell you it happened at a log yard operation,” said Trish Knight Chernecki, WorkSafe B.C. senior manager of government and media relations.
“WorkSafe B.C. and the RCMP are conducting a parallel investigation.”
No name has been released. Police said Friday no other details were being released.
