Highway 6 two kilometres east of Lumby was shut down for a number of hours Monday after a fully loaded westbound logging truck spilled its load rounding a corner.
An empty eastbound truck nearly avoided collision with the truck and the spilling logs as it veered into the ditch.
There were no injuries to either driver in the accident, which occurred shortly after 8:30 a.m.
Traffic was re-routed from Highway 6 along McInnis Road and Rawlings Lake Road.
