Thieves have an interest in lottery tickets.
Vernon RCMP are currently investigating a series of lottery ticket thefts from local businesses.
“A man and a woman enter the business and one creates a distraction by asking directions using a map or by spilling a cup of coffee,” said Corp. Fritz Schmid.
“While the employee of the business is distracted, the second individual steals lottery tickets from the countertop display.”
