Flood water continues to roll through Lumby but conditions appear to be stabilizing.

Mayor Kevin Acton says efforts continue to tackle high water along the three creeks.

“It would appear that for now the water levels are stable and crews are managing,” he said.

“If the weather holds out we may be able to get on top of it before the next rush.”

An evaucation order has been issued to the mobile home park on Faulkner Avenue, while an evacuation alert remains in place for all other residents living along the three creeks.

The reception centre is located at the White Valley Community Centre.
