Mabel Lake Water Utility customers advised of planned work

Eight-hour leak detection work slated for Thursday, April 21, could affect water supply and quality

Customers of the Mabel Lake Water Utility (MLW) are advised that planned leak detection work will happen on Thursday, April 21, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

This planned work may impact your water supply and quality such as cloudiness, air in the water or temporary loss of water, so you may wish to store a short term supply of water before the work begins.

Areas that may be affected are:

- Kingfisher RV Park;

- Dolly Varden Road;

- Campground, and;

- East side of airstrip (above campground off Enderby Mabel Lake Road).

If you experience a water interruption, run a cold water tap at low volume until the water has cleared once service has been restored.
