Postal code changes are coming to Big White Ski Resort.

Canada Post recently approved the change, which will bring a new unique postal code system to the area and the mailing name for those in the area will now be ‘Big White’ instead of Kelowna.

Residents will be given 30 days notice before the address change and mail will be forwarded for free for the first year to ensure a smooth transition.

Change of address notices will go out in August and come into effect in September.

Residents with box holders will not receive any additional costs.
