UPDATE: Man rushed to hospital following altercation

UPDATE: July 5

A 27-year-old remains in hospital following an altercation between two residences on Harvey Avenue, Tuesday evening.

His injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening in nature.

While a 41-year-old man, connected to the incident, was arrested at the scene. He remains in police custody.

The investigation into the alleged aggravated assault continues, and the file has been turned over to the Kelowna RCMP General Investigations Section

Police are still on the scene of an altercation that occurred near two residences on Harvey Avenue near Richter Street.

Reports of a dispute were called in just after 5 p.m.

Officers arrived in the area to find a man bleeding from a wound, he was rushed to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Another man was arrested at the scene and remains in police custody.

No other people were injured.

It’s unclear if a weapon was used in the altercation.

RCMP continue to investigate.
