Manhunt for suspects after Kamloops RCMP officer shot

Vehicle is a 1998, four-door, white Chrysler Intrepid with B.C. licence plate AF765A attached to it.

A Kamloops Mountie is in serious condition and undergoing surgery in Royal Columbian Hospital after being shot following a traffic stop in Batchelor Heights.

Cpl. Cheryl Bush said the shooting occurred at 2:45 a.m. Wednesday (Dec. 3) at the corner of Batchelor Drive and North River Road when an attempt at a traffic stop led to an exchange of gunfire.

Bush said the vehicle and its occupants were still at large as of 6:30 a.m.

The vehicle is described as a 1998, four-door, white Chrysler Intrepid with B.C. licence plate AF765A attached to it.

Police are asking the public to call 911 if they see this vehicle.
