Mosquito control set for Lake Country

crews will be driving by roadside catch basins treating standing water with an environmentally approved mosquito larvacide

For the second time this summer, you may see people driving through Lake Country neighbourhoods and throwing packets into curbside catch basins.

Weather permitting from Tuesday to Saturday, crews will be driving by every roadside catch basin in Lake Country and treating standing water with an environmentally approved mosquito larvacide.

The work is being done as part of the Regional District of Central Okanagan’s mosquito control program.
