Motorbike and commercial vehicle collide near Princeton

The motorcycle rider was taken to hospital with serious injuries
RCMP are looking for witnesses.

A motorcycle rider suffered serious injuries following a crash with a commercial vehicle near Princeton. 

The incident happened just before 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 24, at the intersection of Princeton Summerland Road and Highway 5A. 

The rider was taken to hospital while the driver of the commercial vehicle was not injured in the collision and is cooperating with the investigation, according to RCMP. 

It’s unclear what caused the collision, which remains under investigation. No charges have been laid. 

Anyone who was travelling in the area or witnessed the collision who has not already spoken with police is asked to contact Princeton RCMP at 250-295-6911.
