For the first time since 2008, the Vernon Watkin Motors Mustangs have won the Coca-Cola Classic Pee Wee Hockey Tournament.

Steel Quiring scored three times while defenceman Connor Elliott snapped a 3-3 tie early in the third to lead the Mustangs to a 5-3 win over the Idaho Jr. Steelheads in the Amy Myles Trophy A event final of the 45th annual Classic Sunday night at the Civic Arena.

Jakob Jones had the the other goal for the Mustangs, who went 5-0 and outscored their opponents 48-12.
