Three newcomers will challenge five incumbents for the six seats available for Enderby city council.
Tundra Baird, Karen Durant and Raquel Knust all filed nomination papers to run for a seat on council prior to the close of Friday’s 4 p.m. deadline.
They will run against incumbents Brad Case, Beryl Ludwig, Greg McCune, Earl Shipmaker and Tony Vetter.
Residents will also have to make a decision on the mayor’s job.
Councillor Howie Cyr earlier declared his intention to seek the mayor’s chair, and he will run against incumbent Dee Wejr.
The municipal election vote will be held Nov. 19.
