Sue Beaudry is retiring as Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation executive director in the fall.

A fundraising organization is going through a change in leadership.

The Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation is currently looking for an executive director because Sue Beaudry, who is currently in the posiiton, is retiring this fall after 10 years.

“We are looking forward to meeting dynamic leadership candidates to strategically propel the organization forward as we focus on upcoming ambitious projects to improve the health of North Okanagan residents,” said Richard Finn, VJH Foundation vice-president.

Annually, the foundation raises between $1.5 and $2 million for unfunded health care needs at VJH, residential care facilities and community health services.

The foundation hopes to have the new executive director in place by September, and it will be accepting applications until the right person is found.

“We don’t want to close the door to any opportunity to find the best candidate,” said Finn.
