UPDATE: Wildfire under control near Mabel Lake, Enderby

The blaze is currently 0.1 hectares in size, and is 30 km east of Enderby

UPDATE July 30:

BC Wildfire Service has a blaze near Mabel Lake under control.

The suspected-lightning caused fire east of Enderby was discovered Sunday.

By Monday evening it was under control.

ORIGINAL July 28:

A wildfire has sprouted near Mabel Lake.

The blaze is currently 0.1 hectares in size. It was discovered at 2:13 p.m. on Sunday, July 28. 

Currently out of control, the fire appears to be about 30 kilometres east of Enderby near the Toledo Forest Service Road.

BC Wildfire Services is currently aware of the fire, and is taking the necessary steps to respond.

The suspected cause is lightning.
