RCMP asking for public's assistance in locating suspect

Following a robbery at Nolan’s Pharmasave Sunday, RCMP are on the hunt for a suspect.

A Caucasian male approached the till at approximately 4:50 p.m. demanding cash.

He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and was last seen heading westbound on 30th Avenue.

“The suspect had most of his face covered,” said RCMP spokesperson Gord Molendyk.

The suspect is described as medium height with a one or two-day growth beard on his lower face. He was wearing a grey ball cap, black hoodie, black coat, blue jeans and brown hiking boots.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the Vernon RCMP (25-545-7171) or Crimestoppers (1-800-222-8477).
