OC hosts bank official

One of Canada’s top banking officials, Farid Novin, the Bank of Canada’s senior representative for B.C., is coming to Okanagan College

One of Canada’s top banking officials, Farid Novin, the Bank of Canada’s senior representative for B.C., is coming to Okanagan College to discuss how current events are impacting the Canadian economy and what that means for B.C.’s economic outlook in the coming year.

Okanagan College’s School of Business is presenting Novin’s only local appearance at the Kelowna campus Thursday from 1:30 to 3 p.m.

Novin has worked for the Bank of Canada for almost 30 years in a variety of senior roles and his extensive experience is coupled with his remarkable scholastic credentials.

The free presentation will take place in the Kelowna lecture theatre, S104, and everyone is welcome to attend.
