A precautionary water quality advisory for the Okanagan Landing area has been lifted.
Greater Vernon Water (GVW) and Interior Health made a joint statement Friday, April 8, announcing the end of the advisory that began on April 5.
Crews have replaced a large mainline valve in the area and water flows have returned to normal. Bacterial testing results and chlorine levels in the system have been deemed satisfactory by GVW.
Residents with questions can call the Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) utilities department at 250-550-3700.
