Coun. Todd York graciously donated a concrete picnic table for Otter Lake during a Spallumcheen council meeting Monday night.
“Unfortunately the existing picnic table was used for firewood,” said chief administrative officer Corey Paiement.
A wooden table costs approximately $500 and $3,300 for concrete, said Paiement.
“I have a few concrete ones from when I had the RV park,” said York.
“The plaque you’re going to put with my name on it is worth $6,000.”
